The screw heads are sharp and the pinheads are unmarred. Otherwise, the metal finish is immaculate. There is some light operational wear on the lever and dried grease on the top of the receiver which should clean off easily. Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The stocks rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.īore Condition: The bore is bright and the Micro-Groove rifling is sharp. The LOP measures 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad, which shows hardly any wear. There are only a few scattered hardly notable marks in the butt stock. There is a Marlin bullseye in the belly as well.
The forearm is capped and has a sling swivel and there is another in the belly. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a capped pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a brown firm Marlin buttpad. The front sight is a hooded beaded blade on a serrated ramped riser which is screwed to the barrel. Sights / Optics: This rifle is mounted with a “U” notch folding rear sight which can be adjusted for elevation which is dovetailed to the rear of the barrel.
